The Kill Everyone Project

A whole world. One button. One person per click.

Everybody’s clicks contribute to the same body count. The countries go in order of population, from the smallest to the largest. Meanwhile, the world keeps growing.

GO KILL’EM!!! anonymously, or register to save a name, appear in the rankings, and join the chat.

About this recreation

The original Homokaasu project ran from 2001 to 2007. This is a new game with a fresh counter. Old accounts and old scores are not connected.

The black and red layout, silhouette, moving red button, shared clicks, rankings, chat, and smallest-country-first progression are based on surviving screenshots and contemporary accounts.

The original Flash program, precise movement timing, population table, province data, and final event were not recovered. The button’s timing is reconstructed. This edition uses 2001 World Bank population figures, 218 country/territory entries, and a starting estimate of 890 for Vatican City. New population is added to the final target at three per second. The map uses modern boundaries.

Scores and chat are real within this recreation. There are no simulated players. This game is public; anyone with the link can join.
